This beautiful antique French crucifix dates from the late 1800 and it is beautifully inlaid with mother of pearl. It is embellished with flourish decor of grapes vines, branches, bird and crucifix. The panel on which the crucifix rests has a lovely rounded shape of a crucifix also. A beautiful ormulu bronze mount surrounded the crucifix that is full of details. The back carries the original ring, ready to hang.
Measurements: Total 26cm/ 10.23" height, 15.5cm/ 6.10" length and 1.3cm/ 0.51" thickness. The small ebonised mother of pearl crucifix measures 21cm/ 8.26" height and 11cm/ 4.33" length.
