I've collected 3D Stereo items for the last 30 years. It's come time that I pass along these hard to find items to someone else to enjoy.
This is a very unusual Armme Stereoscope that was manufactured in the United States by the Armme Company LTD. 608 South Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois in the late 50's or early 60's for viewing Realist format 3D slides. It is made from rigid black plastic and has no cracks or breaks. It is illuminated by a 3v single filament incandescent bulb and powered by two 'D' sized batteries (which are not included to keep shipping costs as low as possible).  The single element lenses can be screwed out for focusing and cleaning. The light is activated by a button on the underside of the unit. The viewer is comfortable and light to hold and works very efficiently. All electrical contacts have been cleaned and tested. The lenses have been checked and both are clear - both have been cleaned in preparation for it's sale on ebay. The viewer has been thoroughly tested and works as perfect as the day it was made some 60 years ago...it is ready to last another 50 or 60 years!
The rare original box is included. It does have some shelf wear around the top corners and edges, but it
is sound and sturdy. A facsimile of the rare original instruction manual is included which will tell you
everything you ned to know about the features and care of your viewer.
In addition to the viewer, manual and box, there are 25 vintage color 3D Realist format slides included
which were taken in the 1960s or 1970s.  At quick glance, they appear to be pictures of family and family
vacations. The condition of all slides is excellent with no damage or fading. The 3D is so cool!
