VINTAGE VISITING HOLY COMMUNIUM SICK CALL SET W/CASE (7 PIECES) COMPLETE AS FOUND.
Years ago a Priest would respond to a request of the sacrament of annointing and communion for a gravely ill Catholic.
They would take a portable case such as this to the home.
This black textured cardboard case measures 7-1/8" L x 3-5/8" W x 2-1/8" H.  In the set is a chrome or aluminum wafer holder with a cover that becomes a host plate.   A bottle for blessed wine and 3 cups.  (One cup is 1/4" higher than the others)
The case is lined with green velveteen inside the cover and has a small latch which has oxidized to a soft green.
Condition is "Used".  Stains from the 3 wine glasses and bottle on the inside cover.  Two slight dents on wafer holder where it was held between fingers (?)  (Pictures 8 and 9 )
