Vintage Raebhat Craftmade Teddy Bear Isle of Lewis Scotland Wool Harris Tweed

Vintage RAEBHAT ORIGINALS Isle of Lewis 14" handmade stuffed bear, designed by Enid Davies, Scotland. This adorable collectible bear is dressed in a dark hunter green/brown knit wool sweater with brown woven Harris Tweed overalls, lighter kelly green wool hat and matching shoes. The clothing is stitched to the body and is not removeable. The placement of the eyes is unique as they appear a bit offset~ I think it adds to the charm of a truly hand-crafted item. The stuffing is dense and stiff, and I am not sure exactly what it is filled with. The original tag is still hanging from his overalls, although the bottom portion of the tag has been cut. This is a "Craftmade" item, a standard which was introduced by the Highlands and Islands Development Board in 1971 (according to the tag).
The bear has aged fairly well but does have some imperfections~ the fur seems slightly matted, there is a small area on the back of his right foot where the felted wool has rubbed creating a small hole, and a small hole at the bottom of his trousers. Please refer to the photographs for the identified flaws.
