This highly informative book was imported from Germany. It was published in 1984 first in German and in 1988 in English.  Auctioned here is the German Edition (I have the English edition in ebay too). It is a softcover book and has over 44  pages, covering 42 stereo cameras from 1940.
Each camera is documented by a page listing the technical characteristics (manufacturer, date of production, quantity produced, dimensions, weight, film size and format, lenses, shutter, etc., etc.) and three views, one looking straight, one from the top and one from the back with the camera back removed. An example is shown below:

Shown in the pictures is the list of contents with the 42 cameras listed. Together with the better known cameras like the Stereo Realist (4 entries), the Kodak Stereo, TDC, Revere, Iloca, Belplasca, etc., more unusual cameras are also described))
