    Description

Vintage David White Co. Stereo Realist Illuminated Bakelite “Red Button” Viewer with Manual and Carry Case in excellent overall condition. Bakelite is shiny with no cracks or chips. Includes original Manual, extra bulb and 18 miscellaneous slides of a couple’s wedding; also interesting ephemera is the original 1951 sales receipt from the photo studio in NYC for 3, which was a lot of money back then. No battery corrosion inside and the switch, battery and bulb contacts have all been serviced: cleaned for a flicker free viewing experience. Lenses are clean and the focus & shift mechanisms work fine. Many of the slides have tape deteriorating and falling off with one having cracked glass; maybe could be used to repurpose with your own photos. Case in great shape showing minimal wear. Sold as-is, as found with no returns or partial refunds, but guaranteed to be as shown & described. Nice handheld viewer for your 3d stereo slides.
An updated note on sales tax and shipping charges.
Recently eBay starting collecting sales tax for transactions in several states. These are automatically added to the final invoice and I'm not able to delete or adjust them. Please anticipate whether these taxes apply to you.
    > The fine print; Please read so you understand and abide by my terms before placing a bid.
    >> Please email me with any questions to avoid problems later
    > All items are sold strictly as-is, as shown. All sales final; no returns or refunds; but guaranteed to be as described
    >> Attention: Auction transactions selling for 0 or more (Item price plus Shipping) to a buyer, I must charge for signature confirmation & additional damage coverage which costs more.
    >>> International Bidders Please Note: I will ship internationally using eBay's Global Shipping Program if your country is approved for it. Please check the Shipping/Payments tab in the auction to determine if your country is eligible and how much the shipping & import fees are before bidding. As part of the program, the buyer pays international Shipping and Import charges in advance which is invoiced by eBay. Please note that I, as the seller, do not invoice, determine, charge or receive these additional import fees.
    > The shipping calculator is a close estimate, and final costs will be determined at the end of the auction.
    >> A few dollars are generally added to offset the costs of bubble wrap, tape, peanuts and materials for good packing and is already factored into the shipping calculator total.
