You will receive THREE, 12 inch wires (
    30.48cm)
; one of each kind: Easy, Medium & Hard silver solder wire. Works with a torch.  Cut with wire cutters. Hammer it flat, if placing in a position where the solder will roll.  This solder is also great for employing the "stick soldering" method.  If unfamiliar, go to YouTube to see this in action. This solder works for all types of silver.  Use any type of flux used with precious metals.
    Tips for Perfect Solder Joins:
*Clean and flux the solder and the metal to be joined. Cleaning can be done by lightly sanding and/or washing each piece with dish soap and rinsing/drying before use.
*Solder will not flow where dirt or finger oils are present. This fact can be used to make solder stay in place and avoid areas where it should not flow. There are products on the market that work in this way.  One such product is called Tix AntiFlux which will keep solder from flowing in an area where it is not wanted, for instance, in a patterned area.
*Use as little solder as possible to make a secure join. This will make for less clean-up and a prettier join.  Make sure your ends are perfectly filed to make a join that shows no light or gaps when ends are butted together. Solder will not fill gaps.
*Start with hard solder for your beginning joins, then go to medium and finally easy, if needed.  Having 3 different melting temperatures helps when you have many solder joins to perform, so the first joins won't melt as the last solders are made.
*Be sure to take the heat away as soon as the solder flows, or it won't matter that the Hard and Medium solders flow at higher temperatures. If the heat is on the piece too long, all the joins will melt and pull apart.
