Pentax Beam-Splitter Stereo Adapter Mint++

Description

Mint++ 3D Stereo Photo Adapter, in the original box, complete with all components. I purchased this item new in a camera store in Tokyo in 1987. I tried this and it worked well. The package includes the beam splitter that attaches to the front of your lens. The thread on the splitter is 52mm, but I am including a 49mm-to-52mm adapter that is in its original package, unopened. The beam splitter front and back covers are included and they are also in mint condition. Mirrors are, of course, in perfect condition. The package also has a viewer, designed to view the 2-image 35mm transparency which a 35mm camera would produce. The original manual is included, but it is in Japanese. But the graphics are good and helpful.
This adapter can, of course, be used with ANY film or electronic camera, with a 49 or 52 mm thread on the front of the lens. Film is a little easier, because you can produce 35mm slides and view them immediately using the included viewer. But, if you have an electronic camera with the 49/52mm thread, you can also produce 2-image 3D prints, using (free) Stereo Photomaker software.
