This is a needle felted Dragon, Dinosaur or Mythological animal.  All my animals are made completely by hand. I use only fibers and colored fibers. I do not use markers, paint, or chalk. I needle felt them firm, for durability.  This animal is meticulously felted with careful attention to detail. I try to match colors as close as I can, to the specific animal.
Some of my animals have Hand Sculpted parts, from clay, such as noses, beaks, or horns, and ALL of them have glass eyes.

Needle felting is an art by which you take processed wool and put it around a wire armature or not, and then take a needle with barbs on it and begin to poke it. This weaves it together making it very firm the more you poke it. It takes Many millions of pokes and reapplying wool to places to make it appear as the animal wanted. It takes
many days
to make just one. And a million pokes later there you have it,
a work of art
.
