This is a rare Gail Erickson artist teddy bear
An antique reproduction Steiff lookalike, this bear is created in the sleeping or laying down position flat on his tummy, measuring 16" long and made of blonde mohair, with original leather bell collar
He has a "shaved" muzzle, glass eyes and brown stitched nose and mouth with felt pawpads, and is stuffed with beans or pellets inside the body to make him heavy (weight is nearly 3 lbs.)
He's tagged Hug-E-Bears by Gail Erickson and hand signed on his foot Gail Erickson 1992
He is in perfect condition with no stains, holes, damage or odors
