    Description

A super rare example of mission art pottery produced by the Fulper pottery company out of New Jersey.  This example is called the flag vase; evidently the company produced these vases around this time in conjunction with the Pan American Pacific international exposition in San Francisco-1915.  The label which for the most part is still present on the vase states the Fulper Pottery received highest honors awarded at the Expo for their artistic work. This label was used over the next year or so to promote they're products at market. The square ink stamp mark on the bottom was used during the production years of 1909-1916.  The blended colors are amazing on this piece starting with a russet brown at the top changing to a cream for contrast to a wonderful sea green at the base. So unusual the four small openings at the top!!  This vase is in factory original condition, no chips, cracks, damage, or repairs. The vase stands 8” tall with a girth of about 5 1/2” at the widest spot. The base measures 2 3/4” diameter.  Please view all pictures as they are considered part of the description. I will be listing this in a buy it now/make offer format. I will be shipping it via FedEx ground/home delivery as it will need to be double boxed and fully insured for transit. All reasonable offers will be considered.
