Description
Beautiful Antique 1900s European Josef Anton STOCKER Micro Mosaic Cross PendantThis stunning pendant was hand made in Europe in the 1900s by famous maker Josef Anton STOCKER. It is made from nickel plated chrome with incredible craftsmanship featuring tiny mosaic pieces arranged in floral and geometric patterns. The smallest details have been taken care of with utmost attention. For instance, Christ is attached to the cross with real nails, creating an even more realistic reminder of his suffering.
This elaborate designer piece measures 3 3/4" long (without bale) and weighs 45.5 grams. It is stamped with the STOCKER designer mark. Some pitting to the nickel plating and some corrosion to the bronze statue of Chris. Otherwise in very good condition considering the age of the piece.
Very beautiful and unusual piece!
