ARTIST BEAR OOAK VINTAGE (ANTIQUE STYLE) SHAGGY GERMAN MOHAIR TEDDY BY SUSAN BRACK (late 1980s / 1990s)
Teddy is looking for a forever home. He come's from a private collection (non-smoker, no pets). "Zigfeld" was hand-made by Teddy Bear Artist And Illustrator Susan Brack. "Zigfeld" is in excellent vintage condition (no tears, stains or moths). He is signed by the Artist on the bottom of his left foot pad (as shown in last photo). He has a "slightly worn" original tag with the price of 0.00 + an ORIGINAL SCHULTE MOHAIR SINCE 1901 EARTH FRIENDLY tag.
"Zigfeld" is 13" tall (9" when sitting down). He is made of blonde/brown shaggy German mohair with German wool paw pads, stitched pearl cotton nose & claws, shaved muzzle with tiny stitched pearl cotton freckles on top, hand blown glass eyes & premium poly-fil stuffing.
"Zigfeld" is fully articulated (including his head) with vintage style hump on his back and a bow around his neck.
THE ARTIST IS BEST KNOWN FOR HER BEARS, SANTA FIGURES AND ILLUSTRATIONS. HER WORK HAS BEEN LICENSED OVER THE YEARS TO COMPANIES LIKE LEISURE ARTS AND BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS. SHE ALSO HAS DESIGNED FOR THE HOME DECOR INDUSTRY. SUSAN'S TEDDY BEAR PAPER DOLLS WERE OFTEN FEATURED IN POPULAR BEAR MAGAZINES.
"Zigfeld" is from a Private Collection and he looks like he could talk. More bears will be coming!!
